Supplier sourcing and selection in China
We consult manufacturers directly, rule out traders presenting themselves as factories, and verify legal existence, production capacity and certifications before putting anything in front of you. You receive a structured comparison and choose on terms that can actually be compared.
- Direct
- manufacturers approached with no reseller in between
- FOB
- every offer brought to the same Incoterm, the only way to compare them
- MOQ
- minimum order quantity obtained at consultation, not discovered later
- 01
Consultation
From a sample, a photograph, a link or a specification, we identify the industrial clusters specialised in your category, then run a tender among the relevant manufacturers.
- 02
Verification
Business licence, declared scope of activity, production capacity, export experience and the certifications your market requires — checked with the issuing bodies, not taken on the strength of a document.
- 03
Comparison
Unit price, minimum order quantity, monthly capacity, production lead times and standards covered, set side by side on the same basis. The decision is yours, on terms that compare.
Factory or trader: the distinction that changes everything
On online marketplaces, a substantial share of accounts belong to trading companies presenting themselves as manufacturers. You then pay an intermediary margin without gaining any security — and you lose contact with whoever actually makes the product.
We approach factories directly. Where doubt remains over a candidate's identity, it goes to a full verification before appearing in your comparison.
Targeting the right clusters before consulting
Chinese industries concentrate by region, and each cluster has its specialities, its price bands and its usual minimum quantities. Consulting at random means comparing offers that have nothing in common.
We start from your specification to identify the regions that genuinely fit, then issue the tender there. This step determines the quality of everything that follows: a comparison is only worth as much as the list behind it.
Offers that genuinely compare
A price means nothing until you know what it covers. An EXW quote and an FOB quote carry different costs; two different minimum quantities do not give the same unit price; a missing certification changes the cost of entering your market.
We bring every offer to a common basis before handing it over: same Incoterm, same reference quantity, same standards covered. You then receive a comparison where the differences actually mean something.
- Unit price at identical quantity and Incoterm
- Minimum order quantity and volume breaks
- Monthly capacity and workload at the time of your project
- Stated production lead times
- Certifications relevant to your market
You choose, we hold the relationship
The comparison comes to you with what is needed to decide, not a single recommendation to take or leave. The manufacturer is yours to choose.
We then remain the interface with the factory: placing orders, chasing, adjusting mid-production, handling disputes. You deal with neither the language, nor the time difference, nor local practice.
- Specification framed
- Industrial clusters targeted
- Tender issued
- Manufacturers approached directly
- Offers brought to the same Incoterm
- Comparison delivered
Online marketplace or agent on the ground
| Marketplace | Agent in China | |

| Who you face | Often a trader | The manufacturer, identified |
| Verification | On declaration | Licence, capacity, workshop visit |
| Negotiation | In writing, at a distance | On site, in the local language and codes |
| If a dispute arises | A remote claim gets lost | Handled locally, before shipment |
Frequently asked questions
- Will you work with a supplier we have already found?
- Yes. We can verify its legal existence, its scope of activity and its certifications, visit the workshop, then step in on negotiation or quality control without you changing manufacturer. Many assignments start exactly that way.
- How many manufacturers do you approach?
- As many as it takes to obtain genuinely comparable offers on your product — the number depends on the category and how specialised the requirement is. A standard item quickly finds several serious candidates; a technical part finds fewer, and the comparison then has fewer lines but more telling differences.
- What if no manufacturer fits?
- We tell you, with the reasons: quantity too small for the industry, specification unrealistic at the target price, or a category with no serious production in the region. You leave with a reasoned answer rather than a factory chosen by default.
