On-site support and trade fairs
We prepare your trip to China, arrange the meetings and accompany you on site with interpreting and negotiation support. If you cannot travel, we go in your place and bring back samples, photographs and comparisons.
- Agenda
- meetings booked before you land, halls and exhibitors selected
- Interpreter
- on site, to negotiate in Chinese with no intermediary
- Itinerary
- visits chosen by the sectors you are prospecting, not by the map
- 01
Preparation
Relevant halls and exhibitors selected, meetings booked, technical questions drawn up. Bookings are made weeks ahead: an improvised trip turns into lost days.
- 02
On site
Interpreting, negotiation support and reading what goes unsaid. An exchange in direct Chinese does not produce the same answers as one in approximate English on both sides.
- 03
Factory visits
Away from the fair, we group visits by region to make the trip worthwhile — industrial clusters are specialised and far apart.
The Canton Fair is not somewhere you wander
The Canton Fair is held twice a year in Guangzhou, in spring and autumn, and runs in three phases devoted to different product families. Coming during the wrong phase means missing your entire sector.
Then there is the scale: kilometres of aisles and thousands of exhibitors. Without a prior selection of halls and without booked meetings, the time goes on walking and the best manufacturers stay invisible.
What being there in person allows
- Handling materials and comparing finishes side by side
- Asking technical questions and reading the hesitation in the answer
- Telling a manufacturer from a trader within minutes of conversation
- Negotiating in front of witnesses, which binds differently from an email
A well-prepared day at a fair advances a project further than three weeks of exchanges at a distance.
An itinerary built around your categories
A worthwhile trip is not planned on a map but on what you are looking for. We start from your product categories, the specifications that matter to you and the stage your project has reached — broad prospecting or one specific supplier to meet — to settle the list of factories worth seeing.
Geography comes second. Chinese industries concentrate by region, and those regions are hours apart by road or rail: once the list is set, we order the visits so that travel does not eat the week.
The result is a dense trip in which every meeting answers a question you had before leaving.
If you cannot travel
We go in your place: exhibitors selected, meetings booked, technical questions prepared with you, then a written account, photographs and samples brought back.
You receive the same structured comparison as if you had made the trip — price, minimum quantity, capacity, lead times and certifications on a common basis.

Frequently asked questions
- How far ahead should the Canton Fair be booked?
- Several weeks at the very least. Visitor registration, accommodation in Guangzhou during the fair and meetings with the most sought-after exhibitors are all arranged early. A decision taken a fortnight beforehand sharply limits what can be organised.
- Is a visa required to travel to China?
- Entry conditions depend on your nationality and change regularly — some exemptions exist, others have been suspended and reinstated. Check with the relevant consulate early: it is the step that most often blocks a trip decided late.
- Can we ask you for factory visits only?
- Yes. Each service can be commissioned on its own: you can ask us purely to organise and accompany your visits, with no sourcing or order follow-up behind it.
A trip to prepare?
Tell us your dates and what you are looking for. We arrange the meetings and the travel between regions.
